Specifically, the General Department of Customs has issued two documents to guide, including: Official Letter No. 3639/TCHQ-GSQL dated July 19, 2021 on physical inspection of imported goods subject to special storage conditions and Official Dispatch No. 401/TCHQ-GSQL dated July 23, 2021 on checking records of shipments of drugs and medicinal ingredients.
Accordingly, the customs declarations of the golden channel made from August 1, 2021 must be checked and compared with the customs declarations with the customs dossiers in accordance with regulations on strengthening the inspection of drugs and raw materials for manufacturing. imported drugs.
After the customs units check, if it is determined that it is appropriate, then customs clearance must be carried out immediately. On the contrary, if the inspection finds that the documents are not suitable or doubts about the authenticity of the documents, the red channel will be changed to conduct physical inspection of the goods.
With customs declarations in the red channel, customs units must conduct physical inspection of goods immediately upon receipt of the declarations. The inspection is to compare with the content recorded on the customs declaration.
For customs declarations under the red channel, the importing enterprise must present to customs the original copy of the power of attorney, the product circulation permit, and the product test sheet. The customs officer, after receiving these originals, will check and compare them with the copies that the enterprise has submitted to the Customs in the import dossier.
